The Tasmania Golf Club provided a beautiful venue for the 2017 SEU Club Dinner. More than 80 players, family and friends were in attendance to celebrate a breakout season for the club. While the headlines deservedly went to the Under 15s, who secured the club’s maiden FFT championship, and also reached the final of the

South East United are the 2017 FFT Under 15 league champions! Our young stars wrapped up the title with a game to spare, losing only the one game all season. It is a triumph against adversity for a side which had only managed one victory in two turbulent seasons since making their youth football bow

The club is exceptionally proud and excited by the news that Kasper Hallam has been selected for the preliminary Tasmania state U15 squad. After a great weekend of football, packed with thrilling encounters everywhere, we emerged with wins in the U12s, U13s, U16s and both men's senior cup competitions. Smiles, such as the ones here from the victorious U13 D1 team, were everywhere.

There were some amazing individual performances too, with that machine Christopher Goodwin playing no fewer than FOUR matches, the supremely talented Kasper Hallam registering EIGHT goals in his three games, young Jacob Sartori grabbing his first FOUR goals for the club in a remarkable U13s D1 victory (playing a year up too), Jo-anne Roland's double against the all-conquering Olympia taking her personal tally for the season to a staggering FIFTEEN already, while there was surely no more popular goal all weekend than Shaun Kelly's 20-yard screamer to record his first for the club.

Keep it up everyone. The winning feeling really is a special one, and we would love all our players to get used to it. So let's get back to training and keep building the momentum.
